Desta vez, coube ao experiente carpista Mario Winnekes a proeza de capturar um gigante exemplar de 91lb 6oz (41.45kg).
Os boilies utilizados foram da Pelzerbaits, empresa do ex-recordista Marcus Pelzer.
Esta bela carpa tem nome, chama-se Mary e no ano passado deu o record ao Marcus Pelzer com 89lb. A Mary foi capturada 3 vezes por Pelzer, e agora por Winnekes. Num total de 4 capturas ela bate o record duas vezes.
Esta é a filosofia do carpfishing, devolver para mais tarde recompensar.

German angler Mario Winnekes captured Mary today at 41,45kg, which is 91lb 6oz.
The huge German common carp wasn't landed for at least a year, and before that only Markus Pelzer managed to cath Mary three times, the last time in June 2011 at a new world record weight of 40,4 kg.
The interesting fact is that Winnekes used Pelzerbaits boilies, the company of former world record holder Markus Pelzer, to catch Mary."
